The Ellwood House Museum will have our last weekend tours of 2026 from Friday, Dec. 18 - Sunday, Dec. 20. We highly recommend scheduling these tours in advance through our booking website below or over the phone, as our tours have a capacity of 15 individuals each. (Tickets will be available on October 1, 2026)
The Visitor Center and all tours will be closed to guests after Dec. 20, 2026 until March 3, 2027. During this time, Ellwood House staff work on several in-depth projects that would be difficult to complete during our regular tour season. These projects include, but are not limited to:
Post-holiday and general cleaning of the historic structures
Reorganization
Site Updates
New exhibit planning and installation
Volunteer training
Event planning
Rental scheduling
