Photography Permit 2012

Due to site construction and sidewalk improvements to the grounds this spring, we will begin the photography permit process in May/June.

Thank you for your interest in the Ellwood House estate. We are here to help you enjoy the museum site.

The beautiful grounds of the Ellwood House have become especially popular for photography over the years. In 2011 it was determined that a photography permit was necessary to control the numbers of photographers on the grounds at a time, and help offset the costs associated with maintaining the museum and estate.

Beginning January 2012, photographers must register in advance with Ellwood House Association and preschedule the times they are to be on the grounds. A permit must be present in your vehicle when parked on the grounds.

The public will continue to be allowed access to the park during any photoshoot, and our normal tours will take place; however, additional photo shoots will not be allowed to take place on the grounds concurrently with your scheduled shoot.
