These are the only days to visit the Ellwood House when the Mansion is decorated for the holiday season in 2010.

Mansion closed for tours from December 13, 2010 through February 28, 2011.

Plan to begin your holiday season at “Ellwood Elegance,” Ellwood House Association’s annual holiday celebration in December. More than a dozen rooms in the Ellwood mansion are elegantly decorated by local businesses, community organizations and museum volunteers. Holiday music will welcome visitors to the historic home of barbed wire baron Isaac Ellwood. Complementary refreshments are served in the museum’s Visitor Center.

Please purchase your tickets at the Visitor Center to tour the Ellwood House. Admission is continuous with guides stationed in rooms throughout the mansion. There is no pre-sale of tickets.

Enjoy art, live music and food at the 39th Annual "Art at Ellwood" Art Fair & Sale.

70 fine artists and artisan crafters show and sell their original work on the spacious lawns of the Ellwood House Museum. Food vendors offer grilled bratwurst, beef barbeque, frozen custard and other tempting treats!

Join us for a summertime tradition! Enjoy ice cream and home-made cakes and pies in the lovely setting of the Ellwood House gardens. Free concert by the famous DeKalb Municipal Band under the direction of Dee Palmer. Tours of the historic Ellwood House by admission.
